This past weekend, our Cleveland location was there to support the Crohn’s and Colitis Walk. The event was held at Independence Field House on Sunday afternoon. Prior to the walk there was music, a carnival, food and of course, Clear Choice Photo Booth! Nationwide, the walk has raised more than $60 million, and $11 million dollars last year alone!

In Cleveland, there were three Honored Heroes that suffer daily from either disease and have shown tremendous bravery. All three are under 15. Jack, Aria & Jordan have seen their young lives change because of their disease. The highlight of their year is going to Camp Oasis, a camp where not only all the other campers have IBD, but so do their counselors!

This walk helps to raise money to benefit those suffering from IBD and to raise awareness. There are nearly 1 in 200 Americans living with IBD, and 10% are children. Children under 18 are the fastest-growing patient population and are often the most severely impacted by the diseases. The average patient is misdiagnosed twice. (All stats are directly from CCFA.org.)
