Wendy’s aimed to celebrate its top General Managers with a personal, energetic experience that reflected its culture of excellence. The Top GM event at Hilton Columbus united leaders nationwide to honor achievements and inspire growth. We designed a photo activation that captured excitement, connection, and pride while giving every guest a shareable memory to take home. Every detail emphasized teamwork, recognition, and the spirit of success that defines Wendy’s legacy.

Challenges

Customization

To create a cohesive visual identity, we fully wrapped the Photo Spot Pro and customized digital and print templates with Wendy’s Top GM branding. The mosaic wall reinforced the signature red-and-white brand colors, while the photo strip layout mirrored the celebratory theme of recognition and pride. Every detail, from the layout to the social overlays, reflected Wendy’s leadership-driven energy.

Our Approach

To deliver an activation aligned with Wendy’s event vision, we crafted a strategy focused on creativity, efficiency, and seamless execution. Our plan combined purposeful design, brand consistency, and interactive technology to ensure every element contributed to a memorable celebration.

Photo Booth Concept and Design

  • Set up the Photo Spot Pro to capture 3-photo strips, instantly shareable via SMS and email.
  • Created custom print templates incorporating the “Top GM” star motif for a consistent brand touchpoint.
  • Integrated fast printing so guests could leave with physical keepsakes while also sharing digital copies instantly.

Engagement & Shareability

  • The Social Photographer roamed the venue, capturing candid, dynamic group shots and behind-the-scenes interactions.
  • Guests printed their photos as stickers and placed them on the mosaic wall, gradually revealing the Wendy’s “Top GM” logo tile by tile, symbolizing teamwork and shared success.
  • Instant photo sharing through SMS and email kept the energy alive, sparking genuine excitement and encouraging guests to post and tag their moments in real time.

Technology & Workflow

  • All stations were synchronized for smooth traffic flow, ensuring guests spent more time celebrating than waiting.
  • Reliable power access within 25ft ensured steady operation of lighting, camera, and mosaic projection systems.
  • On-site support staff monitored each activation zone for consistent performance and guest assistance.
