On May 22nd, World Water Day is celebrated across the nation. It is a day to reflect and remember why water is so important to our world and how we need to conserve it. It is also a day to learn and teach the younger generation the need its importance. Here in Cleveland, World Water Day is celebrated throughout the city.
This year we attended an event in Parma at the Watershed Stewardship Center ran by Cleveland Metroparks. The event is a way for families to learn about water’s role locally and throughout the world. They had many hands on activities, as well as presentations. Each person received a watershed global passport and could earn stamps as they learned more about water.
The client asked for a water green screen to give their guests an underwater experience. They decided to match the photo strip as well, which also included their World Water Day logo. The green screen looked fantastic and the guests enjoyed the full on water themed photo booth!
Both indoor and outdoor events were held at this free event, including a wagon tour, a boat demonstration and a live animal show. Events throughout the weekend were held throughout Cleveland, from the Great Lakes Aquarium to the Natural History Museum. We have been attending World Water Day for several years, so don’t miss us next year!
